Begin with your week
Separate the clothes you repeat for work, home, travel and celebrations. Compare a proposed purchase with outfits you already enjoy before treating a new collection as a requirement.
Compare the complete garment
For saris, separates and dresses, inspect the exact composition, lining, fastenings and measurements. Discuss blouse ease and drape with your tailor. A textile name alone does not establish comfort, provenance or quality.
Make the outfit personal
Try a continuous colour line or a contrasting layer; let one piece of jewellery lead. Check the complete outfit while seated and moving. No body shape is required to wear a particular silhouette.
